group of kids in library learning about reptiles

We are thrilled to announce that George Dudich from Lake Brownwood State Park visited us to share fascinating insights about reptiles native to our area and indigenous species as well.

He brought along some amazing reptile ambassadors, including a Texas indigo snake, a speckled king snake, two box turtles, and two collar lizards!

Students had the unique opportunity to see the incredible creatures up close and learn about their habits, behaviors, and conservation efforts.

Thank you to Lake Brownwood State Park for this fantastic presentation. We look forward to more opportunities to learn about local wildlife! 🐍
