This week, De Leon Elementary students participated in a service project by collecting canned goods for our local food pantry. Each day, we added to our canned food display as curious minds tried to guess what the final design would be. Students had a great time watching it take shape — and the big reveal was Pioneer Stadium at Boswell High School!
Meanwhile, our students made their own predictions for tomorrow night’s bi-district playoff game against Wolfe City. The final prediction: Bearcats win 28–7! 🏈
We’ll continue collecting canned goods until tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. The class with the most cans and dollars (remember, 1 can = $1) will win a popcorn party with extra recess!
