Congratulations to these 4 Perkins Middle School Band Students who were recognized tonight for being selected to perform with the Texas Junior All Stars of Music in Hawaii June 2027! Students who were selected are: Jayde Peters (8th Grade), Jonah Spencer (8th Grade), Garrett Fasla (7th Grade), and Cataleya Padgitt (7th Grade). Our amazing Director, Mattie Dillon, was also chosen to serve as faculty on this trip! Students were presented with a lei, a maroon and white Hawaiian shirt, and a personalized leather music binder with their name and the Mighty Maroon Band Logo to use on the trip. Congratulations to these students! Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed! Thank you Mrs. Dillon for all you do for our band program! This is the first time in school history that students in a middle school band were able to achieve the honor to represent our school at this level! Be on the lookout for these students who will be fundraising to help cover their cost for this experience!
