De Leon High School will be hosting a Veterans Day assembly Monday, November 11 at 1:00 in the DHS gymnasium. We would like to invite all local veterans, active duty and reservists to attend, as well as community members. Gymnasium doors will open at 12:45. For any additional information please contact the high school office.
We are so proud of our students for raising $3,600 donated to Samaritan's Purse, an organization that is helping with hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina and other affected areas of our Nation. The class that donated the most will receive a pizza party. Congratulations 3rd grade! Thank you to all parents who helped us with this successful fundraising event!
