The Comanche County Farm Bureau Player of the Week is Harley Pinckard of the De Leon Bearcats!
Harley made his first start and produced 2 interceptions, 3 PBUs and 2 tackles against a very good Hawley team. Harley was matched up against one of the best receivers in the Big Country and held him to only 45 receiving yards. His interceptions were made early in the game and completely shut down any momentum that Hawley created. This was a huge part of De Leon getting off to a 26-0 lead! This week was full of great football and many players in contention for this week's award, but Harley made huge impact in this win for De Leon. We are excited about the direction this football season is headed for our Comanche county teams!
